Junior Coaching

Sunday Groups

Groups 2 – 4 are based at Truro Golf Club on the practice facilities located on site, Range, Pitching/Chipping area, Putting Green and the practice bunker. These sessions are designed for juniors thinking about taking up golf for the first time or would like to have a refresher before they start on course. Equipment can be provided for all ages and abilities and each session will be guided by the Assistant Professional George Bray. 

Group 2 – 10am – 11am Age range 10 years old plus or younger juniors that have prior golf knowledge and experience. £5pp (Intermediate Group)

Group 3 – 11:15am – 12:15pm Age range 10 – 7 year old. £5pp (Beginner Group)

Group 4 – 12:30pm – 1:30pm (SUMMER SEASON ONLY, MAY – AUGUST) Age Range 6 years old and younger. £5pp (Beginner Group)

Group 4 will merge into group 3 during the winter months to combat smaller group sizes each week. 

Sunday On Course Coaching 

Group 1 is based on the course at Truro Golf Club and is designed for junior golfers meet one of the criterias now mentioned – Has a England Golf HandiCap, Has been awarded golf access bands either at Truro or previous club, has had individual or group coaching with the either Scott Richards Truro GC Head Professional / George Bray Assistant Professional and has been signed off to be competent on course. Equipment can be provided if needed, each session will be guided by the Assistant Professional George Bray. 

Group 1 – 2:30pm – 4:30pm Winter Months (Nov – Mar) 

              – 4:30pm – 6:30pm Summer Months (Apr – Oct)

              – £10pp 

There will also be a mid week coaching session designed for juniors from groups 1 and 2 that will be based on the practice facilities at Truro GC, this session will be for juniors that can’t attend Sunday coaching or juniors that are looking to improve their golf further. Times and prices are yet to be confirmed, however they will be published asap.
